Qualifications
I trained as an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist at the Minster Centre in London, gaining a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and MA in Integrative Psychotherapy.
I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor to trainees and qualified counsellors. I primarily use the Seven-Eyed Model of Clinical Supervision.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and I follow their codes of ethics.
I have over nineteen years of clinical experience working with adults.
I attend ongoing training and regular clinical supervision to support my work.
I am recognised by AXA, Aviva and Vitality Medical Insurers.
I have a teaching qualification and offer private tuition for trainee counsellors, studying on both undergraduate and postgraduate academic levels (Level 4, BA and MA).
I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Roehampton on the Psychology and Counselling BSc and Therapeutic Psychology BA (for which I am also the Programme Convenor). I am also the Module Convenor on the Therapeutic Psychology programme’s Interpersonal Neurobiology module which looks at the ways in which our minds/brains and bodies respond in relationships with others and how we can learn to regulate our emotions.
